Captain Adrienne is a licensed, non-denominational minister.  She has officiated weddings throughout the U.S. and countless ones in Provincetown and here on Cape Cod. She offers personalized weddings and is available by appointment to customize your special day (via email, phone, or in person) whether it be for a group of 10 or 300. She welcomes your personally written vows or can assist and provide vows as a guideline to get you started. Whether you’re planning a traditional ceremony, a modern civil union or an anniversary vow renewal, she will customize a ceremony to reflect your story as a couple. Her ceremonies tend to be personal and sentimental and can incorporate special rituals such as hand-fasting, knot-tying or unity sand. Your ceremony language can be as fun or formal as you you would like.

I am the owner and operator of Provincetown Boat Charters. It is my great honor to officiate every ceremony. Looking for a venue or something special to do with your friends and family?  You can marry or propose aboard my beautiful boat, Marie Knight. Alison Hyder

As a Unitarian Universalist minister, I bring both appreciation and experience of many religious traditions. My own family includes (but is not limited to) practicing Jews, Catholics, fundamentalist Christians, Eastern Orthodox, Science of Mind members, UUs, and devoted skeptics. I have conducted interfaith weddings, pagan handfasts, and civil ceremonies. I respect and enjoy the diversity of human expression.

I have been performing wedding and commitment ceremonies on Cape Cod since 1999. I've married couples on mountain tops and in historic inns. While minister of the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House in Provincetown I lobbied for same-sex marriage at the Massachusetts and Maryland State Houses, and performed my first legal gay wedding in Provincetown on May 17th, 2004. Since then I've officiated for over 300 same-sex weddings and another couple hundred or so straight couples. I hope that you will join their number. Please contact me at RevHyder@gmail.com to discuss the details.
